Biography

His work has been seen at New York City Opera, Montreal Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, Long Beach Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Gotham Opera, Opera Theater of St. Louis, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Kennedy Center, Second Stage, The Public Theater, The Children’s Theater Company, Baltimore’s Centerstage, McCarter Theater, La Jolla Playhouse, Portland Center Stage, Santa Fe Stages, Actor’s Theater of Louisville, Syracuse Stage, The Juilliard School, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Wilma Theater, and California Shakespeare, among others.

He has designed several one-person shows including Ann Magnuson’s Rave Mom, Sandra Tsing-Loh’s I Worry, and Marc Wolf’s The Road Home.

Andrew has received a Drama Desk nomination for Wintertime by Charles Mee, as well as a Princess Grace Award.

Upcoming projects include: Aida at the Deutsche Opera Berlin, The Adding Machine at La Jolla Playhouse, and Our House at The Denver Center.
