On Saturday, October 3rd, the Department of Design for Stage and Film hosted its seventh annual Alumni Family Day. This informal afternoon event provided refreshments, craft projects, and a chance for alumni to get together and show off their children. We were thrilled to have a chance to visit with five babies all under six months old, several nine year olds who eventually found their way from the Lego table to the computer lab, seeing eye dog Kemp who brought along his pal Lloyd Burlingame, Mary Schmidt Campbell, dean of the Tisch School, Sharon Peterson and Fred Bush from TSOA alumni relations, and a bunch of delightful cupcake-eating, bead-stringing, pipe-cleaner-twisting, smiling kids and their parents!
