Malgosia Turzanska was born and raised in Krakow, Poland. She got her BA in Costume and Set Design from DAMU in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2006 she moved to New York, where she has designed numerous stage performances and short films, including close collaboration with Patricia Noworol Dance Company, and award-winning New Orleans fable, "Glory At Sea". She's also designed "Time to Pretend" video costumes for Brooklyn band MGMT, along with the clothes for their CD cover art and their appearance on the David Letterman Show.
