Each year, design students work collaboratively and creatively on over 35 plays, films, and dance concerts. Design students work in close collaboration with faculty, students and professionals in the Graduate Acting Department, the Undergraduate Drama Department the Undergraduate and Graduate Dance Departments.
The student is required to understand the needs and functions of the artisans with whom they will work. Emphasis is also placed on shop organization, budgeting of labor and materials, and professional practices. Designers will, throughout their study, observe professionals at work in theatres, design studios, and shops, as well as in form and television studios.
For all performance dates, times and ticket information, please call the appropriate Box Office, or check our Events Calendar.
